Member for a system for connecting a wiper blade to a windscreen wiper arm

An assembly that connects a wiper blade to a windscreen wiper arm, the assembly comprising:

• an adapter capable of being connected to the windscreen wiper arm, the adapter comprising:
• two protuberances that face toward each other in opposing directions, wherein each of the two protuberances projects from an internal lateral face of the adapter, at least one of the two protuberances comprising a first centering and guide means,
• wherein the first centering and guide means are two contiguous first portions distinct from each other, each of the two first portions being a sloped, sliding surface extending in a plane that is inclined relative to lateral walls of the adapter;
• and
• a connector capable of being connected to the wiper blade, the connector comprising:
• a second centering and guide means complementing the first centering and guide means to facilitate the mounting of the connector to the adapter to allow for a rotation about at least one axis of articulation
• wherein the two first portions are adjacent and inclined relative to one another.
