## Abstract

A method of communicating data by a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method includes configuring plural frequency blocks divided from a system bandwidth; receiving scheduling information including a frequency block indicator and resource allocation information for data; and performing a procedure for receiving or transmitting the data via a first frequency block indicated by the frequency block indicator among the plural frequency blocks.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of receiving downlink data by a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving downlink scheduling information including a frequency block indicator and resource allocation information; and
performing a procedure for receiving the downlink data via a time-frequency region indicated by the resource allocation information within a first frequency block indicated by the frequency block indicator among configured plural frequency blocks,
wherein each of the configured plural frequency blocks is a subset of a system bandwidth.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the downlink scheduling information is received via a second frequency block different from the first frequency block among the plural frequency blocks.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the downlink data includes one or more transport blocks.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the downlink scheduling information further includes modulation-related information and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-related information.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the frequency block indicator includes N−1 bits, and each of the N−1 bits represent a boundary between two neighboring frequency blocks in the plural frequency blocks, where N is a number of the plural frequency blocks.

### Claim 6

A method of transmitting downlink data by a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
transmitting downlink scheduling information including a frequency block indicator and resource allocation information; and
performing a procedure for transmitting the downlink data via a time-frequency region indicated by the resource allocation information within a first frequency block indicated by the frequency block indicator among configured plural frequency blocks,
wherein each of the configured plural frequency blocks is a subset of a system bandwidth.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the downlink scheduling information is received via a second frequency block different from the first frequency block among the plural frequency blocks.
