## CPC

- G06F 3/0443: {using a single layer of sensing electrodes}
- G06F 3/04164: {Connections between sensors and controllers, e.g. routing lines between electrodes and connection pads}
- G06F 2203/04112: Electrode mesh in capacitive digitiser: electrode for touch sensing is formed of a mesh of very fine, normally metallic, interconnected lines that are almost invisible to see. This provides a quite large but transparent electrode surface, without need for ITO or similar transparent conductive material
- G06F: ELECTRIC DIGITAL DATA PROCESSING (computer systems based on specific computational models G06N)

## Abstract

A touch window includes a substrate including an available area and an unavailable area; and an electrode layer formed on the substrate, wherein the electrode layer includes a conductive layer and a protective layer formed on the conductive layer, the protective layer is in direct contact with the conductive layer, the protective layer has a thickness different from that of the conductive layer, and the protective layer includes a black-based color.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A touch window comprising:
a substrate including an available area and an unavailable area;
a resin layer disposed on the substrate and including a first pattern and a second pattern; and
an electrode layer formed on the substrate,
wherein:
the electrode layer includes a conductive layer and a protective layer formed on the conductive layer,
the protective layer is in direct contact with the conductive layer,
the protective layer has a thickness different from that of the conductive layer, and
the protective layer includes a black-based color, and
wherein:
the electrode layer is disposed on the second pattern,
the conductive layer has a width smaller than that of the second pattern,
the protective layer includes a first protective layer formed to surround an upper surface and a side surface of the conductive layer and a second protective layer formed to be in contact with a lower surface of the conductive layer, and
the first protective layer and the second protective layer are disposed to surround the upper surface, the side surface and the lower surface of the conductive layer.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The touch window according to claim 1, wherein the first protective layer is formed to be in contact with an upper surface of the second pattern.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The touch window according to claim 1, wherein the first protective layer is disposed to be spaced apart from a side surface of the second pattern.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The touch window according to claim 1, wherein a width of the electrode layer is equal to or smaller than that of the second pattern.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The touch window according to claim 1, wherein the first protective layer is formed in a blackening material layer including one selected from CuO, CrO, FeO and Ni2O3.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The touch window according to claim 5, wherein the first protective layer and the second protective layer are formed of the same material.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)
