The lighted cable termination assembly includes a stand, a lens, and a plurality of light emitting components. The stand is configured to be supported, with the stand extending upwardly, by the one or more pipes. The lens is positioned over an upper opening of the stand and includes a proud surface extending radially outside of a perimeter of the stand. The plurality of light emitting components are disposed under the lens, and the proud surface of the lens providing illumination from a plurality of viewing angles as viewed from the underside of the any of the one or more pipes on which the stand is supported. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A lighted cable termination assembly for use with one or more pipes, the lighted cable termination assembly comprising: a stand configured to be supported, with the stand extending upwardly, by the one or more pipes, the stand including an upper opening; a lens positioned over the upper opening of the stand, the lens including a proud surface extending radially outside of a perimeter of the stand; and a plurality of light emitting components disposed under the lens; the proud surface of the lens providing illumination from a plurality of viewing angles as viewed from the underside of the any of the one or more pipes on which the stand is supported. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 1, wherein the lens includes a sidewall that slopes upwardly and inwardly until terminating at a substantially flat upper surface. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 1, wherein the lens includes a sidewall that slopes upwardly and inwardly to an upper surface of the lens; wherein the proud surface protrudes outwardly at a lower end of the sidewall and above a lower edge of the sidewall; and wherein the lower edge of the sidewall extends radially outside of the perimeter of the stand. ### Claim 4 (depends on 3) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 3, wherein the lens further includes one or more grooves disposed in the surface of the sidewall; and wherein the one or more grooves extends radially outside of the perimeter of the stand. ### Claim 5 (depends on 4) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 4, wherein the one or more grooves extend along the side wall to the lower edge of the sidewall. ### Claim 6 (depends on 1) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 1, further comprising: a base component supported by the stand and supporting the lens; wherein the proud surface of the lens includes a maximum diameter larger than a maximum diameter of the base component so that the proud surface of the lens extends radially outwardly past a footprint of the base component. ### Claim 7 (depends on 1) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 1, wherein the plurality of light emitting components are provided in the form of a centrally disposed light emitting diode and one or more light emitting diodes disposed adjacent the centrally disposed light emitting diode. ### Claim 8 (depends on 7) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 7, wherein the one or more light emitting diodes includes at least four light emitting diodes, wherein the at least four light emitting diodes are disposed around the centrally disposed light emitting diode. ### Claim 9 (depends on 1) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 1, wherein the one or more pipes includes a 10 cm diameter pipe, and the proud surface of the lens provides an obstructed viewing angle of less than about 5.5° from a central longitudinal axis of the lighted cable termination assembly when installed extending upwardly from the 10 cm diameter pipe, as viewed from the underside of the 10 cm diameter pipe. ### Claim 10 (depends on 1) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 1, wherein the proud surface is adjacent a lower edge of a curved sidewall of the lens. ### Claim 11 A lighted cable termination assembly for use with one or more pipes, the lighted cable termination assembly comprising: a stand configured to be supported, with the stand extending upwardly, by the one or more pipes, the stand including a cylindrical sidewall having a first diameter; a lighted end cap device covering an upper opening of the stand, the lighted end cap device including a lens with a proud surface having a second diameter larger than the first diameter of the cylindrical sidewall; and a plurality of light emitting components surrounded by lens; the proud surface of the lens providing illumination from a plurality of viewing angles as viewed from the underside of the any of the one or more pipes on which the stand is supported. ### Claim 12 (depends on 11) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 11, wherein the plurality of light emitting components include a first light emitting component configured to project light upwardly through the lens, and a second light emitting component configured to project light radially outwardly through the lens. ### Claim 13 (depends on 11) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 11, wherein the lens includes a sidewall that slopes upwardly and inwardly to an upper surface of the lens; wherein the proud surface protrudes outwardly at a lower end of the sidewall and above a lower edge of the sidewall; and wherein the lower edge of the sidewall extends radially outside of the cylindrical sidewall of the stand. ### Claim 14 (depends on 13) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 13, wherein the lighted end cap device includes a base configured to be coupled between the lens and the stand, the base positioned adjacent the lower edge of the sidewall. ### Claim 15 (depends on 14) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 14, wherein the base includes an upper edge having a third diameter smaller than the second diameter of the proud surface. ### Claim 16 (depends on 14) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 14, wherein the lens includes a pedestal disposed below the lower edge and configured to be coupled to the base. ### Claim 17 (depends on 14) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 14, wherein the base includes one or more outwardly protruding ribbed members. ### Claim 18 (depends on 17) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 17, wherein the one or more outwardly protruding ribbed members include an angled end portion adjacent an upper edge of the base. ### Claim 19 (depends on 13) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 13, wherein the lens includes one or more grooves disposed in the sidewall. ### Claim 20 (depends on 19) The lighted cable termination assembly of claim 19, wherein the one or more grooves are disposed along an outer surface of the sidewall.
