The present disclosure relates to the fields of proliferative disorders (for example, cancer) and disorders associated with excessive cell death (for example, neurodegenerative disorders).

## Claims

### Claim 1

A composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and an isolated polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:3.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The composition of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide is linked to a second polypeptide, wherein the second polypeptide improves cell permeability of the polypeptide.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The composition of claim 2, wherein the second polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:20.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The composition of claim 1, further comprising an additional therapeutic agent.
