Shading system including voice recognition or artificial intelligent capabilities

An intelligent umbrella system, comprising:

• one or more shading elements;
• a support assembly, coupled to the one or more shading elements, to provide support for the one or more shading elements;
• a base assembly, coupled to the support assembly, to provide contact with a surface;
• one or more microphones to capture spoken or audio commands;
• one or more processors;
• one or more memory modules;
• one or more wireless communication transceivers;
• wherein computer-readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules are executable by the one or more processors to:
• convert the captured audio commands into audio files;
• and
• perform voice recognition on the converted audio files to generate instructions or commands based, at least in part, on the converted audio files;
• and
• one or more environmental sensors, wherein the audio command requests sensor measurements from the one or more environmental sensors, and the computer-readable instructions are executable by the one or more processors to generate and communicate the instructions or commands to the one or more environmental sensors to capture sensor measurements and receive the captured sensor measurements from the one or more environmental sensors.
