Abstract
An adipose-derived stem cell (ASC), regenerative cell and/or regenerative factor processing system including a tissue extraction device for extracting raw tissue, such as adipose tissue, from a patient, an ASC, regenerative cell and/or regenerative factor isolator, and an implantation device for re-introducing the isolated ASCs, regenerative cells and/or regenerative factors into the patient.
Claims12
An adipose-derived stem cell processing device comprising:
- a first chamber for receiving and containing raw tissue;
- an ultrasonic generator configured with the first chamber and configured to induce liquefaction of the raw tissue by exciting the raw tissue at sub-cavitation energy-levels and at the resonant frequency of cells, cellular structures, cell clusters, collagen fibrils and/or extracellular matrix components;
- a second chamber that is fluidly-coupled to the first chamber via a valve;
- and
- a filter configured between the first chamber and the second chamber.
