## Abstract

A plurality of participants in a conversation may be scored based on ability to correctly answer questions and based on entertainment value as determined by viewers of the conversation. The conversation may be in the form of a game, or may include a number of different substantially simultaneous conversations. Audio data and video data of the conversation may be transmitted over a network, and viewer scores of the participants in the conversation may be received over the network. Participants in future conversation may be selected based on their skill in answering questions and their entertainment value, with different future conversations using different weightings of skill scores and entertainment scores in determining who may participate in the conversation.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method using a computer of providing conversation data, comprising:
receiving, by a server, requests over a network from potential participants to participate in substantially simultaneous conversations;
determining, by the server, participants in the substantially simultaneous conversations;
receiving, by the server, conversation information of the participants over the network, the conversation information including streamed audio data from a microphone and video data from a video camera for each of the participants;
formatting a display area of a display for display of at least some of the conversation information for each of the participants, the display area including a box for display of the video data of the conversation information for each of the participants; and
transmitting, by the server, the conversation information over the network to the participants and a plurality of viewers, at least some of the conversation information, including the video data for each of the participants, being formatted in accordance with the display area, and transmitting along with the conversation information an indication of source of the conversation information for each participant;
wherein the conversation information includes information of the substantially simultaneous conversations between different ones of the participants, and wherein the display includes a menu for selecting audio data for only one of the plurality of substantially simultaneous conversations; and
further comprising transmitting, by the server, for each participant an indicator of a source of information about that participant;
wherein the indicator of the source of information about that participant is a uniform resource locator (URL).

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 wherein the conversation information further includes text data.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 further comprising transmitting, by the server, along with the conversation information an indication of initiator of each of the substantially simultaneous conversations between different ones of the participants.
