Blocking unit for a lifting device and lifting device for a motor vehicle subassembly

A lifting device for a motor vehicle subassembly, the lifting device comprising:

• a support unit and a connecting body tiltably arranged on said support unit;
• a load-bearing unit releasably connected to said connecting body on said support unit, said load-bearing unit having a longitudinal axis and at least one support arm pivotally disposed about the longitudinal axis of said load-bearing unit, said load-bearing unit being configured for connection with a crane unit, said load-bearing unit having a housing main body;
• said support arm having a blocking unit on an outside of said support arm being adjustable between a released position releasing and allowing said support arm to pivot, and a locked position fixing said support arm on said load-bearing unit;
• said blocking unit including a brake body configured for displacement toward said housing main body, said brake body being configured to friction lock said support arm to said housing main body in said locked position;
• an actuator for displacing said brake body toward said housing main body;
• and
• a coupling unit disposed on said at least one support arm for releasably connecting said support arm to the motor vehicle subassembly, said coupling unit being mounted on said support arm for longitudinal displacement along said support arm.
