Abstract
Provided are an eNodeB (eNB) and a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting a machine type communication (MTC). The present invention comprises: receiving a first message including a UE-specific configuration on the basis of a common configuration for a plurality of UEs; and receiving a second message according to the UE-specific configuration, wherein the common configuration may include at least one of the number of times of repetition of the first message and a rate matching pattern of the first message.
Claims10
A method of receiving a signal, by a user equipment (UE) based on a UE-specific configuration in a low-cost machine type wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a common configuration including information on the number of repeated transmissions for a plurality of UEs through a broadcasting channel transmitted from a base station;
- receiving a first message containing the UE-specific configuration including information on the number of repeated transmissions for the UE based on the common configuration;
- and
- receiving, from a base station, a second message based on the UE-specific configuration,
- wherein the UE informs the base station of the necessity to update the received UE-specific configuration status using a RACH preamble of a random access procedure when a channel status is changed after receiving the second message,
- wherein the UE receives an updated UE-specific configuration through a message related to the random access procedure.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting a machine type communication, the UE comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processor, operatively coupled to the transceiver, wherein the processor is configured to:
- control the transceiver to receive a common configuration including information on the number of repeated transmissions for a plurality of UEs through a broadcasting channel transmitted from a base station;
- control the transceiver to receive a first message containing the UE-specific configuration including information on the number of repeated transmissions for the UE based on the common configuration;
- and
- control the transceiver to receive a second message based on the UE-specific configuration from a base station,
- wherein the UE informs the base station of the necessity to update the received UE-specific configuration status using a RACH preamble of a random access procedure when a channel status is changed after receiving the second message, and
- wherein the UE receives an updated UE-specific configuration through a message related to the random access procedure.
