Wireless control of multiple actor devices by multiple controller devices with communication security

A system, comprising:

• a controller;
• and
• a network comprising a plurality of nodes;
• wherein the controller is configured to:
• encrypt a data packet comprising a network ID identifying the network, a destination node ID identifying a destination node for the data packet, a source ID identifying the controller, a destination node command and command parameters, a sequence ID, and a subsequence ID;
• communicate the data packet in a connectionless message to a recipient node of the network that is not the destination node;
• wherein the recipient node is configured to:
• receive the connectionless message;
• decrypt the data packet;
• compare the destination node ID from the data packet to an ID of the recipient node;
• perform a connectionless broadcast the command message on the network in response to the destination node ID from the data packet not matching the ID of the recipient node;
• each node of the plurality of nodes is configured to:
• repeat the process above for the recipient node;
• in response to the destination node ID from the data packet matching the ID of the node:
• execute a task associated with the command and command parameters of the data packet;
• and
• broadcast on the network a connectionless acknowledgement message addressed to the controller after the task is completed.
