## Abstract

A mobile device is disclosed. The mobile device includes an image including a transactional image layer and a master image layer. The mobile device can be used to conduct transactions.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising:
detecting, by a processor in a mobile device, an initiation of a transaction using the mobile device;
sending, by the processor, a retrieval message to a remote server computer via a communications network, the retrieval message including an identifier associated with the mobile device, wherein the remote server computer
receives the retrieval message from the mobile device,
retrieves a transactional image layer from a memory based on the identifier associated with the mobile device, and
provides the transactional image layer to the mobile device; and
displaying, by the processor, image data including the transactional image layer and a master image layer via a display of the mobile device.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the transactional image layer includes at least one of transactional data associated with the mobile device and transactional data for the transaction.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the mobile device is a mobile phone.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the transactional image layer comprises an available balance associated with the identifier for the mobile device.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
converting, by a wireless transceiver of the mobile device, the retrieval message to a radio frequency signal prior to sending the retrieval message to the remote server computer.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the communications network is a wireless communications network.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the transactional image layer comprises data relating to a current purchase.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the remote server computer further:
retrieves the master image layer from the memory based on the identifier associated with the mobile device,
processes the master image layer and the transactional image layer to generate the image data, and
transmits the image data to the mobile device.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the master image layer is retrieved from a memory in the mobile device.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the master image layer is retrieved from a memory in the mobile device, and the processor in the mobile device generates the image data.

### Claim 11

A mobile device comprising:
a processor; and
a display coupled to the processor;
a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium coupled to the processor, comprising code executable by the processor for implementing a method comprising:
detecting, by the processor in the mobile device, an initiation of a transaction using the mobile device;
sending, by the processor, a retrieval message to a remote server computer via a communications network, the retrieval message including an identifier associated with the mobile device, wherein the remote server computer
receives the retrieval message from the mobile device,
retrieves a transactional image layer from a memory based on the identifier associated with the mobile device, and
provides the transactional image layer to the mobile device; and
displaying, by the processor, image data including the transactional image layer and a master image layer via the display of the mobile device.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the transactional image layer includes at least one of transactional data associated with the mobile device and transactional data for the transaction.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the mobile device is a mobile phone.

### Claim 14 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the transactional image layer comprises an available balance associated with the identifier for the mobile device.

### Claim 15 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the method further comprises:
converting, by a wireless transceiver of the mobile device, the retrieval message to radio frequency signal prior to sending the retrieval message to the remote server computer.

### Claim 16 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the communications network is a wireless communications network.

### Claim 17 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the transactional image layer comprises data relating to a current purchase.

### Claim 18 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the remote server computer further:
retrieves the master image layer and the transactional image layer from the memory based on the identifier associated with the mobile device,
processes the master image layer and the transactional image layer to generate the image data, and
transmits the image data to the mobile device.

### Claim 19 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the master image layer is retrieved from a memory in the mobile device.

### Claim 20 (depends on 11)

The mobile device of claim 11, wherein the master image layer is retrieved from a memory in the mobile device, and the processor in the mobile device generates the image data.
