## Abstract

To provide a marker for determining sensitivity to an anti-cancer agent, which can determine whether or not a patient has a therapeutic response to the anti-cancer agent, and cancer therapeutic means employing the marker.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for determining sensitivity of a subject to fluorouracil or a salt thereof, the method comprising:
administering fluorouracil or a salt thereof to a subject having colorectal cancer,
measuring a level of cysteine-glutathione in a specimen derived from the subject.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising comparing the level of cysteine-glutathione in the specimen to a standard, and administering fluorouracil or a salt thereof to the subject when the level of cysteine-glutathione in the specimen is the same or higher compared to the standard.
