## Abstract

An apparatus includes multiple first reservoirs and multiple second reservoirs joined with a substrate. Selected ones of the multiple first reservoirs include a reducing agent, and first reservoir surfaces of selected ones of the multiple first reservoirs are proximate to a first substrate surface. Selected ones of the multiple second reservoirs include an oxidizing agent, and second reservoir surfaces of selected ones of the multiple second reservoirs are proximate to the first substrate surface.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A device for treating acne comprising a laminate comprising an elastic outer layer and an in-elastic inner layer, said inner layer comprising a substrate comprising a discontinuous region, wherein said discontinuous region is perpendicular to a long axis of the device and does not extend to a perimeter of the device, said substrate comprising one or more biocompatible electrodes configured to generate at least one of a low level electric field (LLEF) or low level electric current (LLEC).

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1 wherein the biocompatible electrodes comprise a first array comprising a pattern of microcells formed from a first conductive material, and a second array comprising a pattern of microcells formed from a second conductive material.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The device of claim 2 wherein the first conductive material and the second conductive material comprise the same material.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The device of claim 3 wherein the first and second array each comprise a discrete circuit.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The device of claim 4, further comprising a power source.

### Claim 6 (depends on 2)

The device of claim 2 wherein the first array and the second array spontaneously generate a LLEF.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The device of claim 6, further comprising an electrolytic solution, wherein the first array and the second array spontaneously generate a LLEC when contacted with said electrolytic solution.

### Claim 8 (depends on 2)

The device of claim 2, wherein said first conductive material comprises silver.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

A method for treating acne comprising affixing the device of claim 1 to an area where acne treatment is desired.

### Claim 10

A device for rejuvenating skin comprising a laminate comprising an elastic outer layer and an in-elastic inner layer, said inner layer comprising a substrate comprising a discontinuous region, wherein said discontinuous region is perpendicular to a long axis of the device and does not extend to a perimeter of the device, said substrate comprising biocompatible electrodes capable of generating at least one of a low level electric field (LLEF) or low level micro current (LLEC); and
a conductive fluid in contact with the electrodes.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The device of claim 10 wherein the biocompatible electrodes comprise a first array comprising a pattern of microcells formed from a first conductive material, and a second array comprising a pattern of microcells formed from a second conductive material.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The device of claim 11 wherein the first conductive material and the second conductive material comprise the same material.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The device of claim 12 wherein the first and second array each comprise a discrete circuit.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The device of claim 13, further comprising a power source.

### Claim 15 (depends on 11)

The device of claim 11, wherein said first conductive material comprises silver.
