## Abstract

Provided are a food composition and a feed composition for removing amyloid plaques, each composition including ginsenoside F1, in which ginsenoside F1 is effective for removing amyloid plaques in the hippocampal area of the brain.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of removing amyloid plaques formed by aggregation of amyloid-beta, comprising the step of administering composition comprising ginsenoside F1 or an acceptable salt thereof to a subject.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the method is used to decrease amyloid plaques twice or more, compared to a subject administered with no ginsenoside F1.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the composition comprises ginsenoside F1 in an amount of 0.01% by weight to 99.9% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the composition further comprises a sitologically acceptable carrier.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the composition induces expressions of insulin-degrading enzyme (IDE) and Neprilysin (NPE).

### Claim 6

A method of removing amyloid plaques formed by aggregation of amyloid-beta, comprising the step of administering ginsenoside F1 to a brain cell.
