## Abstract

The invention provides contact lens and contact lens storage compositions and methods for the treatment of presbyopia. The contact lens and contact lens storage compositions preferably comprise aceclidine and a cryoprotectant. The compositions optionally contain a cycloplegic agent.

### Claim 1

A contact lens comprising a sole active agent consisting of aceclidine.

The contact lens of claim 1, wherein the contact lens is a soft contact lens.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The contact lens of claim 1, wherein the soft contact lens is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogel contact lens, a silicone contact lens and a silicone-hydrogel contact lens.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A method of treating presbyopia comprising inserting the contact lens of claim 1 into an eye of a subject in need thereof.
