## Abstract

Substrates having formulations disposed thereon, wherein the formulations have improved transfer rates from the substrate to skin, are disclosed herein. More particularly, the formulations can be applied to nonwoven, particularly elastomeric substrates, as well as tissue paper, and can be easily and efficiently transferred from the substrate to the skin of a user upon intimate contact thereto. Laminated articles using one or more of the substrates having the formulations disposed thereon are further disclosed.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of preparing a tissue paper, the method comprising:
forming a tissue web;
applying a formulation to the outer surface of the tissue web in a single step, the formulation comprising from 15% to 60% (by weight formulation) of dimethicone silicone oil, wherein the dimethicone silicone oil has a viscosity of from 10 cst to 8,000 cst, and from 5% to 40% (by weight formulation) of water, wherein the formulation has a transfer rate of at least 25% when the viscosity of the formulation is 8,000 cP or greater.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the formulation has a transfer rate of at least 50% when the viscosity of the formulation is 8,000 cP or greater.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the formulation is a water-in-silicone emulsion.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the formulation comprises from 15% to 57% (by weight formulation) of dimethicone silicone oil.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein the formulation comprises from 15% to 35% (by weight formulation) of dimethicone silicone oil.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the dimethicone silicone oil has a viscosity of from 10 cst to 350 cst.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the formulation is applied to the outer surface of the tissue web in an amount of at least 10% w/w of the web.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the formulation further comprises cyclopentasiloxane, PEG-10 dimethicone and distearyldimonium hectorite.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the formulation comprises from 45% to 50% (by weight formulation) of the silicone-containing compound and from 30% to 40% (by weight formulation) of water.
