Abstract
A laser processing machine includes a machine main body that has a laser processing head, a processing table on which a workpiece to be processed is laid; and a light-shielding cover that is provided above the processing table, and covers an upper surface of the processing table. The cover is transformable between a deployed state and retracted state, and can adjust an area covering the upper surface of the processing table. According to the laser processing machine, it is possible to cover only a necessary area for laser processing by its compact cover without inhibiting workability for carrying in/out the workpiece.
Claims8
A laser processing machine comprising:
- a machine main body that has a laser processing head;
- a processing table having a laser processing area on which a workpiece to be processed is laid;
- and
- a light-shielding cover provided above the processing table and configured to cover an upper surface of the processing table;
- the light-shielding cover being:
- a transformable light-shielding cover between a deployed state and a retracted state;
- and
- an adjustable light-shielding cover by being configured to adjust an area covering the upper surface of the processing table;
- the laser processing head and the workpiece being configured for movement in relation to each other in the laser processing area;
- and
- the light-shielding cover in the deployed state being configured to cover the laser processing area while the workpiece is being laser processed by the laser processing head.
