Mounting system for telecommunications distribution elements

A mounting system for mounting two pieces of telecommunications equipment, the mounting system comprising:

• at least two pieces of telecommunications equipment;
• an interlocking arrangement between the two pieces of telecommunications equipment, wherein the interlocking arrangement allows the two pieces of telecommunications equipment to be selectively mountable to each other with a sliding motion between the two pieces of telecommunications equipment;
• and
• a mounting arrangement for mounting at least one of the two pieces of telecommunications equipment to a racks;
• wherein the interlocking arrangement is defined by a first locking feature located on a first of the two pieces of telecommunications equipment and a second locking feature located on a second of the two pieces of telecommunications equipment, wherein the first locking feature is defined by a plurality of studs and the second locking feature is defined by a plurality of slots, the interlocking arrangement further including a third locking feature in the form of cantilever arms provided on the second of the two pieces of telecommunications equipment that are configured to abut the studs to prevent relative sliding between the two pieces of telecommunications equipment.
