Abstract
A lighting device includes a substrate having a side extending straight in a first direction and a first LED chip supported by the substrate and having a first anode terminal and a first cathode terminal. The lighting device includes a second LED chip and a third LED chip supported by the substrate, being electrically connected to the second cathode terminal, and being overlapped with the first LED chip when viewed in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction. The lighting device includes a connecting portion that connects the first cathode terminal and the second anode terminal with each other, at least a portion of the connecting portion angled at an acute angle with respect to the second direction.

A lighting device, comprising:
- a substrate having a top surface and at least one side defining an outer edge of the top surface, the at least one side extending straight in a first direction when viewed perpendicularly to the top surface of the substrate;
- a first LED chip supported by the substrate, and having a first anode terminal and a first cathode terminal;
- a second LED chip supported by the substrate spaced from the first LED chip, and having a second anode terminal and a second cathode terminal;
- a third LED chip supported by the substrate spaced from the first and second LED chips, having a third anode terminal and a third cathode terminal, being electrically connected to the second cathode terminal, and being overlapped with the first LED chip when viewed in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction and that extends along the top surface of the substrate;
- and
- a connecting portion that connects the first cathode terminal and the second anode terminal with each other, at least a portion of the connecting portion angled at an acute angle with respect to the second direction.
A lighting device, comprising:
- a substrate having a top surface and at least one side defining an outer edge of the top surface, the at least one side extending straight in a first direction when viewed perpendicularly to the top surface of the substrate;
- a first light emitting device supported by the substrate and having a first terminal and a second terminal;
- a second light emitting device supported by the substrate spaced from the first light emitting device, and having a third terminal and a fourth terminal;
- a third light emitting device supported by the substrate spaced from the first and second light emitting devices, having a fifth terminal and a sixth terminal, being electrically connected to the first light emitting device, and being overlapped with the first light emitting device when viewed in the first direction;
- a first connecting portion, extending in the first direction, that connects the first terminal of the first light emitting device and the fifth terminal of the third light emitting device with each other;
- and
- a second connecting portion that connects the fourth terminal of the second light emitting device and the sixth terminal of the third light emitting device with each other, at least a portion of the connecting portions inclined with respect to both the first direction and a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction and that extends along the top surface of the substrate.
