The present application relates to siloxane-containing phospholipids such as the compounds of Formula I, methods of preparation, compositions and uses thereof.
Claims20
A compound of formula I:
- wherein
- R1 is a phospholipid head group;
- R2 and R3 are independently selected from C2-30alkylene-A and C2-30alkenylene-A;
- A has the structure:
- Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, Re, Rf and Rg are independently selected from C1-6alkyl, C3-10cycloalkyl, C1-6alkyleneC6-10aryl and C6-10aryl;
- m is an integer of from 0 to 20;
- n is 0 or 1;
- X is selected from O and NR4;
- Y is selected from O, NR4 and CH2—O;
- R4 is H or C1-4alkyl;
- and
- Z+ is a counter cation or Z+ is not present when R1 is a phospholipid head group comprising a counter cation.
