Abstract
A catalyst composition is provided for isomerization of paraffins comprising of at least one heteropoly acid and reduced graphene oxide. Further provided are a process for preparation of the catalyst composition and a process for isomerization of paraffins using the catalytic composition.
Claims7
A catalyst composition comprising:
- at least one heteropoly acid;
- and reduced graphene oxide, said at least one heteropoly acid selected from the group consisting of tungstophosphoric acid (TPA), molybdophosphoric acid (MPA), and combinations thereof and said at least one heteropoly acid being present in said catalyst composition at an amount of from 15% to 85% by weight based on a total weight of the composition.
