A flap control device for a motor vehicle comprising:

• at least one flap comprising a first protuberance;
• an actuator moving said at least one flap between a closed and open position, wherein the actuator comprises a second protuberance such that the second protuberance connects to the first protuberance of the at least one flap;
• and
• a detachment means comprising a clamp, wherein the first and second protuberances are fastened by the clamp,
• wherein said flap is detachable from said actuator in the event of failure of said actuator.
