Abstract
A carrier assembly for canisters of a mechanical exfoliation apparatus, the carrier assembly including a hub having an external surface and an open center therethrough with an internal surface, at least two bearings mounted on the internal surface of the hub, and a canister cradle integrally extending from the external surface of the hub.

A carrier assembly for canisters of a mechanical exfoliation apparatus, said carrier assembly comprising:
- a hub having an external surface and an open center therethrough with an internal surface;
- at least two bearings mounted on said internal surface of said hub;
- and
- a canister cradle integrally extending from said external surface of said hub;
- wherein said canister cradle comprises a first plurality of canister retaining prongs disposed about a circumference of said hub.
