Abstract
Vaccines and compositions containing an attenuated L. monocytogenes prsA2 htrA deletion mutant for use in the presentation of foreign or exogenous antigens and in the treatment or prevention of diseases such as cancer or infectious disease are provided.
Claims4
A vaccine comprising an attenuated Listeria monocytogenes prsA2 htrA deletion mutant in an amount of 106 to 1012 colony forming units, which produces a detectable immune response, and a carrier, wherein the mutant further comprises in its genome one or more nucleic acid molecules encoding exogenous antigens.
A composition comprising an attenuated Listeria monocytogenes prsA2 htrA deletion mutant in an amount of 106 to 1012 colony forming units, which produces a detectable immune response, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the mutant further comprises in its genome one or more nucleic acid molecules encoding exogenous antigens.
