Abstract

A nanoparticulate composition of abiraterone acetate that allows treatment at a lower dose than convention abiraterone acetate formulations is described as in a method of treating prostate cancer by administering the composition together with a glucocorticoid.

Dependent claims

A method of treating prostate cancer comprising administering methylprednisolone and a daily dose of between 400 and 600 mg of abiraterone acetate, wherein the abiraterone acetate is in the form of a tablet or a capsule and has a median particle size of 100 nm to 1000 nm on a volume average basis.
