Luggage panel with integrated carry handle for soft-side type luggage cases

A luggage case, comprising:

• a first panel that forms at least a portion of a single side of the luggage case, the single side including at least one perimeter edge, wherein the single side is joined to at least one adjacent side of the luggage case proximate the at least one perimeter edge;
• the first panel comprising a first textile body that forms at least a portion of an outer surface of the single side of the luggage case and that defines at least a portion of a perimeter of the first panel;
• the first panel further comprising a second textile body that forms another portion of the outer surface of the single side of the luggage case;
• the first textile body including a grip portion that forms at least an upper surface of a grip of a carry handle, the grip portion formed from the first textile body;
• and
• the first textile body further including a first portion and a second portion with the grip portion positioned between the first portion and the second portion of the first textile body, and the grip portion has a narrower width relative to widths of the first portion and the second portion of the first textile body.
