Abstract
The present invention relates broadly to a offshore facility. The offshore facility comprise a floating platform; a metal processing apparatus disposed on the floating platform; and a power management module adapted to manage and provide a stable power supply to the metal processing apparatus.
Claims10
An offshore facility comprising:
- a floating platform;
- a metal processing apparatus disposed on the floating platform;
- a power generation system adapted to supply power to the metal processing apparatus;
- a power management module and a substation for consolidating and distributing a power output from the power generation system, wherein the power generation system comprises a combination of a plurality of wind turbines and at least one gas turbine generator;
- and
- an exhaust air blower system for directing an exhaust gas from the gas turbine generator towards the plurality of wind turbines, the exhaust air blower system comprising:
- an air suction duct configured to draw ambient air into a flow of the exhaust gas through perforations via venturi effect as the exhaust gas flows through the air suction duct;
- and
- a blower trumpet disposed in front of each wind turbine and fluidly connected to the air suction duct.
