Abstract
A coated fabric comprising a fabric substrate and a coating on said substrate, the coating comprising a binder and expandable graphite dispersed throughout the binder.
Claims5
A roofing membrane composite comprising:
- i. a TPO sheet having first and second planar surfaces;
- and
- ii. a coated fabric secured to a planar surface of the TPO sheet to thereby form a composite, where the coated fabric includes a fabric substrate and a coating that includes a binder and expandable graphite dispersed throughout the binder, where the expandable graphite has an onset temperature of at least 160° C. and wherein the coated fabric is secured to the TPO sheet by virtue of being mated to the TPO sheet while the TPO sheet is in a molten or semi-molten state.
