Method for canceling interference in wireless communication system and apparatus therefor

A method for canceling, by a terminal, an interfering signal in a received signal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• receiving, from a serving cell, a set of assistance information for cancellation of an interfering signal from a neighboring cell;
• and
• canceling the interfering signal in the received signal based on the set of assistance information,
• wherein the set of assistance information comprises an MBSFN (multimedia broadcast single subframe network) subframe pattern for the interfering signal, a ratio of a transmission power of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to a transmission power of a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) for the interfering signal, a transmission mode related to the interfering signal, and a resource allocation granularity of the neighboring cell indicating a number of physical resource blocks (PRBs) in which the same precoding is used for the interfering signal.

A terminal that cancels an interfering signal in a received signal in a wireless communication system, the terminal comprising:

• a receiver and a transmitter;
• and
• a processor, operatively coupled to the receiver and the transmitter, wherein the processor is configured to:
• control the receiver to receive, from a serving cell, a set of assistance information for cancellation of an interfering signal from a neighboring cell, and
• cancel the interfering signal in the received signal based on the set of assistance information,
• wherein the set of assistance information comprises an MBSFN (multimedia broadcast single subframe network) subframe pattern for the interfering signal, a ratio of a transmission power of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to a transmission power of a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) for the interfering signal, a transmission mode related to the interfering signal, and a resource allocation granularity of the neighboring cell indicating a number of physical resource blocks (PRBs) in which the same precoding is used for the interfering signal.
