Abstract
One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at a first device, a user input; determining, at the first device, a second device is capable of responding to the user input; resolving, using a processor, a target device from among the first device and the second device; and executing, using the target device, a command in response to the user input. Other aspects are described and claimed.

A method, comprising:
- receiving, at a first device, a user input;
- determining, at the first device, a second device is capable of responding to the user input;
- resolving, using a processor, a target device from among the first device and the second device based upon a factor, associated with the user input, generated by each of the first device and the second device and shared between the first device and the second device, wherein the factor is based at least in part upon a degree of confidence associated with identification of the user input;
- and
- executing, using the target device, a command in response to the user input.

- an input device;
- an output device;
- a processor;

- a memory device that stores instructions executable by the processor to:
- receive, at the input device, a user input;
- determine a second device is capable of responding to the user input;
- resolve a target device from among the electronic device and the second device based upon a factor, associated with the user input, generated by each of the first device and the second device and shared between the first device and the second device, wherein the factor is based at least in part upon a degree of confidence associated with identification of the user input;

- execute a command in response to the user input.
