Abstract
Provided is a method and apparatus of a receiver. The method and apparatus include generating a macro sequence of a length using a complementary-symmetry property. The method and apparatus also obtain a preamble sequence for a communication mode based on the macro sequence.

A method of a receiver, the method comprising:
- generating a macro sequence using a sequence and a complementary sequence of the sequence;
- configuring a preamble sequence for a communication mode by using a first micro sequence mapped to a first value in the macro sequence and by using a second micro sequence mapped to a second value in the macro sequence;
- and
- performing a frame synchronization using the configured preamble sequence,
- wherein a length of the configured preamble sequence corresponds to a product of a length of the macro sequence and a length of the first micro sequence.

- configuring a preamble sequence by using a first micro sequence mapped to a first value in a macro sequence and by using a second micro sequence mapped to a second value in the macro sequence;
- and
- synchronizing, in a communication mode, a frame using the preamble sequence,
- wherein the macro sequence is generated using a sequence and a complementary sequence of the sequence, and
- wherein a length of the preamble sequence corresponds to a product of a length of the macro sequence and a length of the first micro sequence.
