Method and apparatus for allocating network medium resources

An apparatus, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing one or more programs to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs comprising instructions for:
• receiving, from a first user, an application request for network medium data resources, the application request including a first screening condition of network medium data resources, the first screening condition including at least two screening dimensions from a set of screening dimensions of the network medium data resources;
• after receiving the first screening condition:
• receiving, from a second user, a user query for network medium data resources, the user query including a second screening condition of the network medium data resources, the second screening condition including at least two screening dimensions from the set of screening dimensions, wherein one or more of the at least two screening dimensions of the second screening condition overlap with one or more of the at least two screening dimensions of the first screening condition;
• obtaining allocation data of the network medium data resources, the allocation data including at least allocatable network medium data resources within a predefined geographical region, allocatable network medium data resources associated with a predefined content, a total volume of the allocatable network medium data resources, and a set of ratios associated with the set of screening dimensions of the network medium data resources;
• calculating an estimated allocatable resource volume of the network medium data resources for the second screening condition using the obtained allocation data of the network medium data resources;
• calculating a conflict metric of the network medium data resources corresponding to the overlap between the first screening condition and the second screening condition, further including:
• determining that the user query can be satisfied by network medium data resources other than the overlapped network medium data resources between the first screening condition and the second screening condition;
• and
• removing the overlapped network medium data resources between the first screening condition and the second screening condition from the calculation of the conflict metric;
• calculating a residual resource volume of the network medium data resources based on the conflict metric and the estimated allocatable resource volume for the second screening condition;
• and
• determining an allocatable resource volume of the network medium data resources for the second screening condition based on the residual resource volume and returning, to the second user, information of the determined allocatable resource volume of the network medium data resources for the second screening condition.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which, when executed by one or more processors, cause the processors to perform operations comprising:

• at an apparatus:
• receiving, from a first user, an application request for network medium data resources, the application request including a first screening condition of network medium data resources, the first screening condition including at least two screening dimensions from a set of screening dimensions of the network medium data resources;
• after receiving the first screening condition:
• receiving, from a second user, a user query for network medium data resources, the user query including a second screening condition of the network medium data resources, the second screening condition including at least two screening dimensions from the set of screening dimensions, wherein one or more of the at least two screening dimensions of the second screening condition overlap with one or more of the at least two screening dimensions of the first screening condition;
• obtaining allocation data of the network medium data resources, the allocation data including at least allocatable network medium data resources within a predefined geographical region, allocatable network medium data resources associated with a predefined content, a total volume of the allocatable network medium data resources, and a set of ratios associated with the set of screening dimensions of the network medium data resources;
• calculating an estimated allocatable resource volume of the network medium data resources for the second screening condition using the obtained allocation data of the network medium data resources;
• calculating a conflict metric of the network medium data resources corresponding to the overlap between the first screening condition and the second screening condition, further including:
• determining that the user query can be satisfied by network medium data resources other than the overlapped network medium data resources between the first screening condition and the second screening condition;
• and
• removing the overlapped network medium data resources between the first screening condition and the second screening condition from the calculation of the conflict metric;
• calculating a residual resource volume of the network medium data resources based on the conflict metric and the estimated allocatable resource volume for the second screening condition;
• and
• determining an allocatable resource volume of the network medium data resources for the second screening condition based on the residual resource volume and returning, to the second user, information of the determined allocatable resource volume of the network medium data resources for the second screening condition.
