Permission request

At least one non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions stored thereon, the instructions effective to cause at least one computing device to:

• store a group relationship including a first user account, a second user account, and a third user account, wherein the second user account is subordinate to the first user account, and wherein the group relationship indicates that the first user account is an authorizing user account for one or more first types of requests and that the third user account is an authorizing user account for one or more second types of requests;
• transmit to a first client device, a control setting file specifying restrictions to be enforced by the first client device during use by the second user account;
• receive a permission request from the second user account to access restricted content;
• transmit, responsive to the permission request and a determination that a request type of the permission request is included in the one or more second types, a first authorization request to a second client device logged into the third user account, wherein the first authorization request requests permission for the second user account to access the restricted content;
• receive, from the second client device, a first rejection message indicating that the third user account denies authorization for the second user account to access the restricted content;
• transmit, responsive to the first rejection message, a denial message to the first client device denying permission for the second user account to access the restricted content;
• receive an account change request from the first client device, the account change request requesting to log the first client device into a fourth user account distinct from the second user account;
• and
• transmit, responsive to the account change request and a determination that a request type of the account change request is included in the one or more first types, an account authorization request to a third client device logged into the first user account, wherein the account authorization request requests permission for the first client device to login to the fourth user account.

An apparatus comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memory devices storing instructions executable by the one or more processors to:
• store a group relationship including a first user account, a second user account, and a third user account, wherein the second user account is subordinate to the first user account, and wherein the group relationship indicates that the first user account is an authorizing user account for one or more first types of requests and that the third user account is an authorizing user account for one or more second types of requests;
• transmit to a first client device, a control setting file specifying restrictions to be enforced by the first client device during use by the second user account;
• receive a permission request from the second user account to access restricted content;
• transmit, responsive to the permission request and a determination that a request type of the permission request is included in the one or more second types, a first authorization request to a second client device logged into the third user account, wherein the first authorization request requests permission for the second user account to access the restricted content;
• receive, from the second client device, a first rejection message indicating that the third user account denies authorization for the second user account to access the restricted content;
• transmit, responsive to the first rejection message, a denial message to the first client device denying permission for the second user account to access the restricted content;
• receive an account change request from the first client device, the account change request requesting to log the first client device into a fourth user account distinct from the second user account;
• and
• transmit, responsive to the account change request and a determination that a request type of the account change request is included in the one or more first types, an account authorization request to a third client device logged into the first user account, wherein the account authorization request requests permission for the first client device to login to the fourth user account.
