Abstract
An application can generate multiple user interfaces for display across multiple electronic devices. After the electronic devices establish communication, an application running on at least one of the devices can present a first set of information items on a touch-enabled display of one of the electronic devices. The electronic device can receive a user selection of one of the first set of information items. In response to receiving the user selection, the application can generate a second set of information items for display on the other electronic device. The second set of information items can represent an additional level of information related to the selected information item.
Claims20
A method of remotely controlling a game, the method comprising:
- establishing a connection, by a first electronic device having a touch-enabled display, with a second electronic device that controls display of a user interface on a second display;
- presenting a first set of affordances on the touch-enabled display including a game affordance associated with playing one or more games;
- upon a selection of the game affordance, displaying a set of game control affordances on substantially the entire touch-enabled display;
- displaying game content on substantially the entire second display;
- receiving an input associated with one of the game control affordances;
- and
- upon receipt of the input associated with one of the game control affordances, altering the game content displayed on the second display.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which when executed by a first electronic device with a touch-enabled display, cause the device to:
- establish a connection, by the first electronic device having the touch-enabled display, with a second electronic device that controls display of a user interface on a second display;
- present a first set of affordances on the touch-enabled display including a game affordance associated with playing one or more games;
- upon a selection of the game affordance, display a set of game control affordances on substantially the entire touch-enabled display;
- display game content on substantially the entire second display;
- receive an input associated with one of the game control affordances;
- and
- upon receipt of the input associated with, one of the game control affordances, alter the game content displayed on the second display.
A first electronic device, comprising:
- a touch-enabled display;
- one or more processors;
- memory;
- and
- one or more programs, wherein the one or more programs are stored in the memory and configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
- establishing a connection, by the first electronic device having the touch-enabled display, with a second electronic device that controls display of a user interface on a second display;
- presenting a first set of affordances on the touch-enabled display including a game affordance associated with playing one or more games;
- upon a selection of the game affordance, displaying a set of game control affordances on substantially the entire touch-enabled display;
- displaying game content on substantially the entire second display;
- receiving an input associated with one of the game control affordances;
- and
- upon receipt of the input associated with one of the game control affordances, altering the game content displayed on the second display.
