## Abstract

Crystalline molecular sieves and their synthesis using quaternary N-methyl-diisoalkylammonium cations as organic structure directing agents are disclosed. The structure directing agent has the following structure (1): in which R1 is selected from hydrogen, a methyl group, an ethyl group, a propyl group, and a hydroxymethyl group; and R2, R3, R4 and R5 are independently selected from a methyl group, an ethyl group, and a propyl group.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A crystalline molecular sieve, wherein the molecular sieve has a framework of SSZ-47 and the three-dimensional framework comprising oxides of silicon and aluminum, comprising within its pore structure N,N-dimethyl-di-sec-butylammonium cation.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A method of synthesizing the crystalline molecular sieve of claim 1, the method comprising subjecting to crystallization conditions one or more sources of oxides silicon and aluminum in the presence of fluoride ions, water, and N,N-dimethyl-di-sec-butylammonium cations.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein the molecular sieve is formed from a reaction mixture having the composition, in terms of mole ratios, as follows:
SiO2/Al2O3
≤5
Q/SiO2
0.10 to 1.0
F/SiO2
0.2 to 1.5
H2O/SiO2
1 to 10
wherein Q comprises N,N-dimethyl-di-sec-butylammonium cations.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein the molecular sieve is formed from a reaction mixture having the composition, in terms of mole ratios, as follows:
SiO2/Al2O3
5 to 200
Q/SiO2
0.15 to 0.40
F/SiO2
0.30 to 0.60
H2O/SiO2
2 to 10
wherein Q comprises N,N-dimethyl-di-sec-butylammonium cations.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)
