To provide a technology for controlling weeds and the like. A herbicidal composition comprising at least one compound selected from Group A, and 2,4-D choline salt has a weed control effect: Group A: a group consisting of flumioxazin, sulfentrazone, saflufenacil, oxyfluorfen, fomesafen and a compound represented by the formula (I):

A herbicidal composition comprising a compound represented by the formula (I):
- and
- 2,4-D choline salt,
- wherein the weight ration of the compound by the formula (I) to 2,4-D choline salt is from 1:0.2 to 1:200.
A method for controlling weeds, comprising applying a compound represented by the formula (I):
- and
- 2,4-D choline salt to weeds or soil in a place where the weeds grow or will grow,
- wherein the weight ration of the compound represented by formula (I) to 2,4-D choline salt is from 1:0.2 to 1:200.
