Abstract
A lure having a tube extending through the body with a noise making element within the tube. As the lure moves in the water, the noise making element creates noise and vibrations and the appearance of a moving eye to attract fish.
Claims17
A lure comprising:
- a body with a hole formed therein;
- a hook connected to the body;
- an eyelet connected to the body;
- a tube with a first end and second end, the tube positioned in the hole such that the first end is located on a first side of the body and the second end is located on a second side of the body;
- and
- a ball located inside the tube;
- wherein the hook and eyelet are formed from a single wire and the single wire forms an arcuate section partially around the tube;
- wherein the tube is made from a material that permits light through the material;
- wherein the ball creates a noise and vibration when the ball contacts one of the first end and second end;
- wherein a longitudinal axis of the tube is generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the hook;
- and
- wherein the ball is visible through the tube when the ball is located near one of the first end and second end.

A lure comprising:
- a head with a bore formed therein, wherein the bore extends from a first side of the head to a second side of the head;
- a hook with a first end embedded in the head;
- a sealed tube located within the bore and affixed to the head, the sealed tube made from a material that permits at least some light through the material;
- and
- at least two noise making elements located within the sealed tube;
- wherein when at least one of the at least two noise making elements contacts a first end of the sealed tube, the at least one of the at least two noise making elements make a noise;
- wherein when at least one of the at least two noise making elements is positioned near the first end of the sealed tube, the at least one of the at least two noise making elements is observable through the first end;
- and
- wherein when at least one of the at least two noise making elements is positioned near a second end of the sealed tube, the at least one of the at least two noise making elements is observable through the second end.
