Secure elements broker (SEB) for application communication channel selector optimization

A method, comprising:

• communicating, by a mobile device that is configured to transmit payment information, with a Point Of Sale (POS) device that is configured to receive payment information;
• determining, by the mobile device based on the communicating with the POS device, a transaction action for performing a transaction with the POS device;
• determining, by the mobile device, that a first secure element of a plurality of secure elements that are included in the mobile device supports the transaction action;
• activating, by the mobile device, the first secure element;
• and
• performing, by the mobile device, the transaction with the POS device at least in part by using the first secure element to perform at least a portion of the transaction action.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium having stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising:

• communicating, using a communication system, with a Point Of Sale (POS) device that is configured to receive payment information;
• determining, based on the communicating with the POS device, a transaction action for performing a transaction with the POS device;
• determining that a first secure element of a plurality of secure elements supports the transaction action;
• activating the first secure element;
• and
• performing, using the communication system, the transaction with the POS device at least in part by using the first secure element to perform at least a portion of the transaction action.
