Abstract
A microscope apparatus includes a monitoring optical system, an imaging unit capturing an image of an observation target through the monitoring optical system to generate a plurality of images, a correction unit disposed in the optical monitoring system and correcting various aberrations which occur due to an observation condition, and a decision unit deciding a correction amount of the correction unit based on the plurality of images generated by the imaging unit, whereby an image deterioration ascribable to the aberration occurring due to the observation condition in the microscope apparatus is appropriately and easily corrected according to a use condition of the microscope apparatus.
Claims11
A microscope apparatus comprising:
- an objective lens including a correction collar;
- an image sensor that generates a first plurality of images by capturing a sample when a rotation position of the correction collar is at a first position, generates a second plurality of images by capturing the sample when the rotation position of the correction collar is at a second position, and generates a third plurality of images by capturing the sample when the rotation position of the correction collar is at a third position between the first position and the second position;
- and
- a controller that adjusts the rotation position of the correction collar based on a first value related to the first plurality of images, a second value related to the second plurality of images, and a third value related to the third plurality of images,
- wherein the controller:
- controls the image sensor to generate a first image and a second image when the rotation position of the correction collar is at the first position;
- controls the image sensor to generate a third image and a fourth image when the rotation position of the correction collar is at the second position;
- and
- controls the image sensor to generate a fifth image and a sixth image when the rotation position of the correction collar is at the third position.
A method for a microscope apparatus including an image sensor and an objective lens having a correction collar, the method comprising:
- generating a first plurality of images by capturing a sample when a rotation position of the correction collar is at a first position;
- generating a second plurality of images by capturing the sample when the rotation position of the correction collar is at a second position;
- generating a third plurality of images by capturing the sample when the rotation position of the correction collar is at a third position between the first position and the second position;
- and
- adjusting the rotation position of the correction collar based on a first value related to the first plurality of images, a second value related to the second plurality of images, and a third value related to the third plurality of images,
- wherein
- the generating the first plurality of images includes controlling the image sensor to generate a first image and a second image when the rotation position of the correction collar is at the first position,
- the generating the second plurality of images includes controlling the image sensor to generate a third image and a fourth image when the rotation position of the correction collar is at the second position, and
- the generating the third plurality of images includes controlling the image sensor to generate a fifth image and a sixth image when the rotation position of the correction collar is at the third position.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium encoded with a computer program for a microscope apparatus including an image sensor and an objective lens having a correction collar, the program when executed by a computer causes the computer to perform a process comprising:
- generating a first plurality of images by capturing a sample when a rotation position of the correction collar is at a first position;
- generating a second plurality of images by capturing the sample when the rotation position of the correction collar is at a second position;
- generating a third plurality of images by capturing the sample when the rotation position of the correction collar is at a third position between the first position and the second position;
- and
- adjusting the rotation position of the correction collar based on a first value related to the first plurality of images, a second value related to the second plurality of images, and a third value related to the third plurality of images,
