Abstract
Biomarkers, methods, assays, and kits are provided for predicting the efficacy of adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) in a subject with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Claims4
A method for treating a subject with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), comprising
- a) measuring gene expression levels with probes specific to a combination of 70 or more E2F regulated genes selected from the group consisting of the genes listed in Table 1 in a biological sample;
- b) comparing the gene expression levels to control values to produce a gene profile;
- c) calculating an E2F signature score from the gene profile;
- and
- d) treating the subject with adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) having an E2F signature score that is higher than a determined median cutoff level.
