Assembly with object in housing and mechanism to open housing

A toy assembly, comprising:

• a housing;
• and
• a primary toy character and an ancillary toy character which are inside the housing, wherein the ancillary toy character is supported by the primary toy character;
• a breakout mechanism that is operable to break the housing to expose the primary toy character and the ancillary toy character, wherein the breakout mechanism drives the ancillary toy character through the housing,
• wherein the ancillary toy character includes a companion mechanism that is in a compacted state in the housing and that, upon fracture of the housing, the companion mechanism expands.

A toy assembly, comprising:

• a housing;
• and
• a primary toy character and an ancillary toy character which are inside the housing;
• a breakout mechanism that is operable to break the housing to expose the primary toy character and the ancillary toy character,
• wherein each of the primary and ancillary toy characters includes a microphone and a speaker and wherein the primary and ancillary toy characters interact with each other.
