Abstract
A method of treating congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV) induced hearing loss includes the step administering a composition to the mammal, wherein the composition consists essentially of a biologically effective amount of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, a vasodilator comprising magnesium, and, optionally, a withanolide, and/or resveratrol.
Claims24
A method of treating congenital cytomegalovirus induced hearing loss, said method comprising the step of internally administering a composition to the mammal, wherein the composition consists essentially of a biologically effective amount of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, a vasodilator comprising magnesium, and, optionally, a withanolide, and/or resveratrol.
A method of treating congenital cytomegalovirus induced hearing loss, said method comprising the step of internally administering a composition to the mammal, wherein the composition consists essentially of a biologically effective amount of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, a vasodilator comprising magnesium, and, optionally, a withanolide, and/or resveratrol, and wherein the composition is administered after peroxyl radical formation.
A method of treating congenital cytomegalovirus induced hearing loss, said method comprising the step of internally administering a composition to the mammal, wherein the composition consists essentially of a biologically effective amount of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, a vasodilator comprising magnesium, and, optionally, a withanolide, and/or resveratrol, and wherein the composition is administered after lipid peroxidation in the mammal.
A method of treating congenital cytomegalovirus induced hearing loss, said method comprising the step of internally administering a composition to the mammal, wherein the composition consists essentially of a biologically effective amount of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, a vasodilator comprising magnesium, and, optionally, a withanolide, and/or resveratrol, and wherein the composition is administered after vasoconstriction of blood vessels in an ear of the mammal.
A method of treating congenital cytomegalovirus induced hearing loss, said method comprising the step of internally administering a composition to the mammal, wherein the composition consists essentially of a biologically effective amount of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, a vasodilator comprising magnesium, and, optionally, a withanolide, and/or resveratrol, and wherein the composition is administered after formation of lipid peroxyl radicals within a lipophilic compartment of a mitochondrial membrane in the mammal.
