Abstract
A capsule forming apparatus comprising a plurality of outputs configured to output capsule materials, a tank for housing a first capsule material and being configured to supply the first capsule material to the outputs and at least one conduit being configured to convey a second capsule material to the outputs. A method for forming capsules is also described.

A capsule forming apparatus comprising:
- a plurality of droplet forming outputs configured to output capsule materials;
- each droplet forming output comprising a nozzle pair including a first nozzle configured to output the first capsule material and a second nozzle substantially concentric with the first nozzle configured to output the second capsule material;
- a first tank for housing a first capsule material and being configured to supply the first capsule material to be output from the first nozzle of each droplet forming output;
- a second tank for housing a second capsule material and being configured to supply the second capsule material to be output from the second nozzle of each droplet forming output;
- and
- conduits configured to convey the second capsule material from the second tank to the second nozzle of each droplet forming output, each conduit being separate to each of the other conduits;
- wherein said conduits extend from the second tank through the first tank to each of said second nozzles.

- a plurality of droplet forming outputs configured to output capsule materials;
- a first tank for housing a first capsule material and being configured to supply the first capsule material to be output from the plurality of droplet forming outputs;
- a second tank for housing a second capsule material;
- and
- conduits configured to convey a second capsule material from the second tank to each droplet forming output, each conduit being separate to each of the other conduits;
- wherein said conduits extend from the second tank through the first tank to each droplet forming output, and
- a looped system through which a stream of fluid is driven to and from the droplet forming outputs, the droplet forming outputs being configured to output the capsule materials into the fluid stream.
