A novel maize variety designated X13M618 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13M618 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13M618 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13M618, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13M618 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13M618 and methods of using maize variety X13M618 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13M618, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH41JM, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH41JM have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA-124804, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13M618 further comprising a single locus conversion, the single locus conversion being introduced by genetic transformation or backcrossing, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH41JM, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH41JM have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA-124804, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X13M618 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH41JM, representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH41JM having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA-124804, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH1V69 and PH41JM further comprises the locus conversion.
