Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13M633W and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13M633W with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13M633W through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13M633W, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13M633W are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13M633W and methods of using maize variety X13M633W are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13M633W, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH40Y2 with a second plant of variety PH2R6R, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH40Y2 and PH2R6R have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124796 and PTA-124596, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13M633W further comprising a single locus conversion, the single locus conversion being introduced by genetic transformation or backcrossing, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the single locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH40Y2 with a second plant of variety PH2R6R, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the single locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH40Y2 and PH2R6R have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124796 and PTA-124596, respectively.
A method for producing a hybrid maize variety X13M633W seed further comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising crossing a first plant of variety PH40Y2 with a second plant of variety PH2R6R, representative seed of the varieties PH40Y2 and PH2R6R having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124796 and PTA-124596, respectively, wherein at least one of the varieties PH40Y2 and PH2R6R further comprises the locus conversion.
