Connecting structure, electrical device and television apparatus

A display device comprising:

• a display unit;
• a chassis made of electrically insulating material;
• a fastening member made of metal;
• an attachment member covering the fastening member, the attachment member being made of an electrically insulating resin material, the attachment member including a cavity;
• and
• a screw extending through a through-hole of the chassis and screwed into a threaded hole of the fastening member,
• the chassis including a housing wall part that extends inside the chassis from an inside surface of the chassis and at least partially surrounds the fastening member,
• an inner wall surface of the cavity of the attachment member at least partially surrounding an external periphery of the housing wall part,
• the fastening member being disposed inside the chassis,
• the attachment member retaining the fastening member relative to the chassis, the attachment member having a first engaging part that engages with an internal portion of the chassis.

A display device comprising:

• a chassis made of electrically insulating material;
• a fastening member;
• a cap member made of electrically insulating material, and including an inner side surface that defines a cavity;
• and
• a screw extending through a through-hole of the chassis and screwed into a threaded hole of the fastening member,
• the chassis including a housing side wall that extends in a first direction perpendicular to an inside surface of the chassis and has an inner side surface and an outer side surface that face away relative to each other in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, the inner side surface of the housing side wall defining an interior housing space in which the fastening member is disposed,
• the cap member being attached to the chassis to cover the housing side wall and the fastening member, the inner side surface of the cap member at least partially facing with the outer side surface of the housing side wall in the second direction,
• the fastening member being disposed inside the chassis,
• the cap member retaining the fastening member relative to the chassis, the cap member having a first engaging part that engages with an internal portion of the chassis,
• the internal portion of the chassis has a second engaging part that engages with the first engaging part of the cap member,
• the second engaging part of the chassis including a hook part that outwardly protrudes with respect to the through-hole, and
• the first engaging part of the cap member including an engaging concavity, the engaging concavity engaging with the hook part from outside of the hook part.
