Abstract
The present invention is directed to use of a series of compounds and compositions comprising the same for activating telomerase and treating diseases, disorders and/or conditions related thereto.
Claims9
A method of stimulating or increasing telomerase activity in a cell or tissue of a subject, said method comprising contacting said cell or tissue of said subject with an effective amount of a compound represented by the structure of Formula VI:
- wherein
- R1′, R3′, R4′, R6′ R7′, and R9′ are the same or different comprising halogen, aryl, C1-6alkyl, C1-6cycloalkyl, C1-6heterocycloalkyl, C1-6alkoxy, monoC1-6alkylamino, diC1-6alkylamino or arylamino;
- and
- R10 is a C1-6alkyl.
