Abstract
The present invention relates to a recombinant nucleic acid molecule, a recombinant microorganism, to a method for producing alanine and to the use of the recombinant nucleic acid molecule or the recombinant microorganism for the fermentative production of alanine.
Claims9
A recombinant nucleic acid molecule comprising:
- (I) a nucleic acid molecule comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 49, wherein the codon corresponding to position 43 to 45 of SEQ ID NO:
- 49 does not encode amino acid alanine and is not a stop codon,
- (II) a nucleic acid molecule encoding a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 50, wherein the amino acid of the polypeptide corresponding to position 15 of SEQ ID NO:
- 50 is not alanine, or
- (III) a nucleic acid molecule encoding a polypeptide having at least 80% sequence identity to a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 50, wherein the amino acid of the polypeptide corresponding to position 15 of SEQ ID NO:
- 50 is not alanine.
