Monomer composition containing unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether-based monomer, method for producing composition thereof, polymer obtained using composition thereof, and method for producing polymer thereof

A monomer composition comprising:

• an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether-based monomer represented by the following chemical formula (1):

• YO(R1O)nR2 (1)
• where Y is selected from the group consisting of a 2-propenyl group (allyl group) (CH2═CHCH2— group), a 2-methyl-2-propenyl group (CH2═C(CH3)—CH2— group), a 2-butenyl group (CH3CH═CHCH2— group), a 3-methyl-3-butenyl group (CH2═C(CH3)—CH2CH2— group), a 3-methyl-2-butenyl group (prenyl group) (CH3C(CH3)═CHCH2— group), a 2-methyl-3-butenyl group (CH2═CHCH(CH3)—CH2— group), a 2-methyl-2-butenyl group (CH3CH═C(CH3)—CH2— group), a 1-methyl-2-butenyl group (CH3CH═CHCH(CH3)— group), a 5-hexenyl group (CH2═CHCH2CH2CH2CH2— group), a 3-heptenyl group (CH3CH2CH2CH═CHCH2CH2— group), and a 2-cyclohexenyl group;
• R1O represents one or two or more types of oxyalkylene groups having 2 to 18 carbon atoms;
• n represents an average addition mole number of oxyalkylene groups and n is a number of 5 to 500;
• and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms;
• an organic acid;
• and
• water, wherein
• the monomer composition has a pH of 7 to 12.
